4 Fall 2026 Outfits to Copy

Fall 2026 will be here right before we know it—if you’ve read my blogs before, you know I LOVE fall and will forever favor fall and winter fashion over anything else. One thing I used to struggle with is what to wear in the transition periods when it feels hot during the day, but gets cooler at night. I love mixing denim shorts with sweaters and layering cardigans over tees or sweaters over button downs so you can always take the third layer on and off.

This first look is perfect for those mid-september days where it really is just TOO hot, but you still want that fall feel. I like a sweater tee paired with a chocolate brown short and a sneaker for a more casual, but still super fun look.

This would be a perfect evening outfit when the nights get cooler. I love an off white denim when transitioning to fall! This sweater would be perfect with the chocolate brown shorts shown above as well. I elevated this look with some chic accessories and paired with a bag that typically I would wear in the summer time, but I love seeing it with this look too.

I actually love a look like this for the office—if you work in an office environment like I do, then you probably know it’s cold all year round, so really it doesn’t matter what time of year it is for this one!

Love that you can take the sweater off and just have a cute jeans and tee outfit.

Another great outfit for layering here- if you get too hot, simply remove the sweater, tie it around your waist, and cuff the sleeves on your button up and your good to go!
